Your headshot is an important marketing tool, maybe your most important, because people you’ve never met will judge you by it. They’ll see your card, study your face, without even knowing they’re doing it, then make a snap decision about you, without even knowing they’re doing that too.

It’s not fair, but it’s the way it is.

They also help to establish your brand when you use them on your cards, your website and all your other marketing tools.

So it goes without saying that you want to look your best. We can remove blemishes and smooth your skin some. And we can even put your face into professional portrait software (though we don’t recommend that for business purposes, but if you want us to do that we will). However, you should dress appropriately, at least from the shoulders up, because you are trying to impress, after all.

And you should be relaxed, because if you’re not, it might show. You can scroll down and to see what I mean, because we have a couple photos below where a person or two just couldn’t loosen up. We probably shouldn’t have included the photos here, but we wanted you to check them out, so you could see how important it is to relax.

And no, I’m not going to tell you who below looks like he or she would rather be anywhere else then in front of a camera. Which I don’t get, we’re not dentists.
